Historian, researcher, visual artist and video editor. She has a PhD from the University of Campinas - Unicamp specialized in the politics, memory, and city subject. She has been a researcher at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura de Venezia (IUAV) where she immersed on the specific subject of the rescue of collective memory in behavioral and social aspects in urban centers. After publishing texts of this kind on the topic in various international magazines, decides to work other issues related to memory under a new support. Video and photography.
Her artistic research consists in working with ambiguities of collective memory that are evident through individual remembrances linked to feelings that now lie dormant, sometimes forgotten. The objective of the research is to understand and document in video and photography how memories are manifested and what are the emotional impacts that they can cause to those who rescue them and to those who hear them. Thus, it is possible to reach the sensitive layers of the individual testimony almost always unexpected both to who tells and listens.

Granted in 2015 and in 2013 by the Cultural Investment Fund of the city of Campinas (FICC) with two cinematographic projects, and funded by the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP) in the Masters and Ph.D.
Historiadora, pesquisadora, artista visual e editora de vídeo. É doutora pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP especializando-se no tema da política, memória, e cidade. Foi pesquisadora no Istituto Universitario di Architettura de Venezia (IUAV) onde se aprofundou no tema do resgate da memória coletiva em aspectos comportamentais e sociais em núcleos urbanos. Após publicar textos desse gênero sobre o tema em diversas revistas internacionais, decide de trabalhar outras questões ligadas á memória sob um novo suporte. O vídeo e a fotografia.
Sua pesquisa artística consiste em trabalhar ambiguidades da memória coletiva que se evidenciam através de lembraças individuais ligadas aos sentimentos que ora se encontram latentes, ora esquecidos. O objetivo da pesquisa é o de entender e documentar em vídeo, e fotografia como as recordações são manifestadas e quais os impactos emocionais que podem causar aos que as resgatam e aos que as ouvem. Dessa forma, é possivel chegar a camadas sensíveis do depoimento individual quase sempre inesperado tanto para quem conta como para quem ouve.

Contemplada pelo Fundo de Investimento Cultural da cidade de Campinas (FICC) em duas ocasiões por projetos cinematográficos: no ano de 2015 com o documentário “Viúvos”, e no ano de 2013 com o documentário “Banzo”. Financiada durante o mestrado e o doutorado pela Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP).
